9. Boy lacks all the bullshit, ego and self-indulgence that U2 would ultimately become known for. Back in , U2 was just a band of four young guys who couldn't play their instruments all that well who somehow found a way to make great music in spite of their seeming lack of talent. Boy is an album about youth. It's themes, interestingly enough.
